Clarification - NSW Subclass 190 nomination increases

The MIA wishes to clarify yesterday’s announcement from NSW Department of Industry. The 2015/16 annual intake for the NSW program remains at 4000, which is the same as the 2014/15 intake.

The purpose of the notice was to confirm that there has been only a limited number of nominations issued since the program year began in July and to calm any concerns that the program may be filling fast.

NSW Department of Industry will increase the rate of nominations in the coming months with a total annual target of 4000 places to be filled by June 2016. The annual target is the same as originally advised in July.
